Oh, good one. I like that book and the old 1966 movie, much better.
IT's hopeful. 1984 is just depressing. I read and saw the movie and book of Farenheit 451 in the 1980s. And still vividly remember it. It's hard to beat Bradbury.
I read 1984 in 1984, actually, for high school. It was good - also depressing. I found Farenheit 451 oddly more hopeful.
Station Eleven is on my to read list. Oh, HBO was planning on doing a television series based on the book, but I'm not sure if it ever got off the ground. I think I may have the book on my kindle. But I need to be in the right mood. Right now, I'm listening to audio books, my attention span is horrific for read. Possibly because I read all day long on the computer.
