I was wondering much the same thing. Because if it were me, I'd get my hair really short for the trip.
I found it fascinating when I hit on Twitter. (Twitter was basically - "oh it's hard to get published, whine, whine", "oh my god we have crazy racists in the Congress - we must get rid of them", "why are you voting for Polaris for the X-men book - no Polaris! No!", "omg this actor is so racist", "look cute animal pictures", "No voting for Polaris! Vote for Boom Boom", "see beautiful winter landscapes to travel to", "there's crazy people in the Capitol"...then the woman washing her hair in space. And I thought, oh cool! Something different.)
