The problem with Okay Boomer - or Millennials, ack! is that both categories were determined by evil marketing people for advertising/sales demographic purposes. And the date range is confusing.
Baby Boom is technically for the group from 1945-1964, but it most likely ended in 1960, with the end of the Baby Boom. And Baby Boom really started in 1946. Gen X? 1961-1980 is most likely the case, but people born from 1980-1989 see themselves as either Gen X or Gen Y, with the Millenial group being roughly 1990 - 2020. But a lot of folks born between 2010-2020, if not before, will see themselves as Gen Z. Then there are those who don't feel they fit in any of those generational categories.
Sigh. Marketing is an inexact and evil science. LOL!
