It probably was. They were very happy at the start of the pandemic. But think about it - cooped up with someone all the time, when you're used to being apart a lot? Neil Gaiman had issues with his relationship for a bit because it was a long distance relationship. A lot of artists have long distance relationships with their spouses. The pandemic kind of changes all of that.
