Maybe, maybe not. Spitzer was different - he was picking up prostitutes, and caught misappropriating funds.
Also, we weren't in the middle of a pandemic. And the next election isn't that far away. And when Spitzer resigned, his replacement was such a disaster - that Cuomo stepped up.
And the allegations are rather minor in comparison to the ones people threw against Trump, and he wiggled out of it.
But he has stopped doing those live press briefings he loved so much. LOL!
