I was prepared to be all snarky about the Gates, but I must confess that once I got there, I really liked them.
My friend and I had the same reaction. At first we were somewhat snarky. My friend remarking how much a spectacle it all was, not really art. But after a while, as we wandered, and saw the Gates in different places in the Park, we changed our minds. They have the oddest way of growing on you. We began to really enjoy them and like them.
