Y2/D278 - Posting from Mother's Computer in SC
I'm here - no issues. Posting from my mother's extremely slow, antiquated HP Laptop in Hilton Head. It's a rainy day. Mother's head cold appears to be abating, although she has a cough - which kept us from seeing my father these past two days. Put up her Xmas tree yesterday, along with all her Xmas decorations. But that's about it in regards to Xmas.
Airport wasn't that crowded, although security was - but I went through it in about 5-10 minutes if that via the expedited line. It was a difference between waiting an hour in chaos, to going through it in five to ten minutes. Worth it for my anxieties.
Everyone wore masks unless they were drinking or eating. And if that was the case, everyone social distanced. No one sat next to me on the ride down, and the guy across the aisle had a mask and a shield on. Everyone wore masks in "both" airports. It wasn't until I got down here - that I noticed folks not wearing them in the grocery stores.
It's raining today, and has been rainy and cool the last two days, but the weather should clear up soon. Crazy workplace sent out emails on Sunday that we're back on the hybrid schedule. This was followed by the Super informing me that they'd been granted permission to repaint my entire apartment after the New Year. Ugh. I may try to get them to push that to the spring.
