I honestly can't remember if Owen was a sociopathic asshole in Torchwood or not? It was too long ago. I found the character on Torchwood more interesting and likable than the character he plays on the Expanse. I've no memory, except I found him more interesting than most of the other characters outside of Tosh. It's hard to make nice characters interesting in low budget sci-fi series for some reason? It may be the writers are assholes and just don't know how?
