You know...before typing this, I had no idea I had such specific tastes in ice cream.

LOL!

Cold Stone Creamery is rather good. I've heard of it.

I'm rather picky - for all sorts of reasons. (I won't bore you with - almost did and decided nah.)

Favorite: Peppermint. (Best was Zarda Diary in Overland Park, Kansas - where I first discovered it in junior high. A friend and I would ride our bikes to get it in the summer and spring.)
Now, I get whatever is available. McConnell's isn't bad. It is only available in December and ridiculously hard to find.

I can't have the ones with all the additives. (Edy's, Blue Bunny, and Turkey Hill tend to have gluten in them). Living in NYC though - and the area I live in? I'm kind of in ice cream mecca. You can get any type of ice cream on the planet. It's insane.

Agreed on Breyer's - by far the best vanilla out there. It's also lower in fat. It comes close to homemade.

Good Humor? It was the only time I liked Strawberry - my favorite was "Strawberry Shortcake" ice cream bars. Devoured those as a child.

Hagen Daz does do sorbets well. Although I prefer gelato for it.
