Tis the Season...

To be grumpy. Usually I get out of NYC during the holiday season, for lots of reasons, not the least being that the city gets overly crowded. But twas not to be this round - outside, of hopefully, god willing, I get out the 24th and
fly back the 26th, I'm stuck here. Just gone long enough to spend Xmas day with my family in South Carolina.

Shouldn't complain though - last year around this time - I was unemployed and
worrying about my health. Now, I'm just harried, tired, and wishing it was 2005 already. 2004 has worn on long enough, methinks. I'm sick of it.
Also the holiday season seems to bring out the best and worste in people.
Everyone is stressed. Everyone is crazy.

Oh, thanks to ann1962 for the santa hat to my icon. Speaking of icons. I have a challenge/favor to ask of anyone who reads this and likes to make icons - can you make me a new, innovative, non-fan related icon? No flashing words or flipping scenes. Easy to download. And that you think fits the personality of this journal. I'm desperately in need of a new one.

Ps: What is Firefox? redredshoes and oyceter have both mentioned it now. Is it a new fancy web browser service like msn.com?
