Jul. 15th, 2010 12:48 pmAccording to flist, lj will start deleting inactive journals, or journals that you have not posted in for at least 24 months. This means that about
20% of my flist is about to disappear. I have a lot of inactive journals friended. Anyone know why they are doing it? To conserve space? Or just figure out where the true ad dollars are going? (Hee, considering the fact that most of us have found a way to hide the ads, not very far.)
Debating walk. It's humid. Cooler. But humid.
Haven't really watched much tv this summer outside of FARSCAPE. Burn Notice got deleted off DVR - because it got too repetitive. Michael in danger, he gets saved. Someone wants to kill Michael, he talks them out of it or kills them. Fiona flirts with Michael and wants to know if they have a relationship.
They do. But he won't stop pursuing the whole burned notice thing. Rinse and repeat. No character evolution, no progression and the series has been on the air for about three-four years. Come on! Why haven't you been canceled for the sin of boring me silly? Maybe it's just me? But tv can be incredibly repeatitive. And my tolerance for that ain't high.
Did watch all of In Plain Sight - which basically does right, what all these other shows do wrong. Character evolution. Procedural stories that evolve and provide insight into the main characters and their relationships.
Plus a tough heroine who pushes past most gender stereotypes. Miss it already.
