(no subject)

At lunch. It's cold and gloomy, ugly really, with dirty gray clouds. The trees stand naked without their leaves, depressed and silent. Feburary is an ugly month. Good thing it's short, albeit long this year - it being leap year. Anyhow took very brief walk, gave in and bought cheap chocolate to cheer self up.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

No. Well that was easy. This exists mainly in movies and romance novels, because it's too much work to actually build up the relationship through the writing - so people take a short cut. In reality? It's physical love and doesn't tend to last very long. About a month or two tops. Why do you think so many celebrity marriages only last a month? (Okay, a month if they are lucky, some last no more than two weeks - long enough to fly to Bali and back.) Love at first sight, more like LUST at first sight. Easy to get the two confused.

Saw part of Glee last night...and...note to writers? Focus on the Glee Club's competition and strive towards sectionals and musical numbers. Do not focus on the teacher's career paths, minority issues, Spainish as a second language, romantic entanglements, babies, or female aging. Thank you. Last night's episode was so unwatchable, that I gave up half-way through.
