May. 21st, 2012 06:44 pmNeed to make dinner, just finished listening and watching co-worker's Soca band on youtube.
They aren't bad, actually pretty darn good - not that I know anything about Soca music. He sent it to us all at work, stating that since he doesn't have internet access at home and our work place currently blocks "all" entertainment related sites - it will be a while until he sees it.
Damp day. With sporadic down-pours. Got caught in a five-minute one during lunch, while attempting to cross the street to buy an apple. I just stood there, with my umbrella, watching the water suddenly cascade downwards in buckets. Then attempted to race across the street only to have the cars pop out of nowhere. Obviously, I survived.
About ready to give up on latest crappy contemporary romance novel...have come to the conclusion that the much maligned reputation of the romance novel genre is well-deserved.
Specifically in the "contemporary" romance category. Ugh. As are the self-published/e-reader books. I'm also beginning to wonder about Amazon.com's amateur book reviewers.
Clearly not the most well-read bunch on the planet or intelligent for that matter. Yes, you are probably wondering what the heck I'm doing with all this binge reading of crappy e-book romance novels...not quite sure myself to be honest. It's an itch, I'm scratching it. Some people buy expensive cars, I read crappy romance novels on the Kindle. Have to say it's cheaper.
