1. For anyone out there who needs to find more television series to watch, here's a complete listing of the television series premiering in 2016 on all the networks, what date they are appearing, time, and which network. Have fun:

Most of them appear to be rehashes of what is already on, but there are a few new things that look mildly interesting. Also quite a few adaptations of less than stellar popular/mainstream fantasy novel serials such as Shannara Chronicles and Shadowhunters (based on Her Mortal Instruments, which yes, is the series based on the controversial fanfic.) And oh yes, the obligatory superhero series based on a comic book - this one is DC's Legends of Tomorrow, with a bit of Doctor Who ripoff, portrayed byRory Arthur Danville.
It's sort of cool in a way...there's a tv show out there for just about everyone. Although I admittedly got tired halfway through the list..
Still have to find them though and ahem, remember they are on, and find time to actually watch the things.
Speaking of..
2. I finally got around to watching those eight-ten episodes of Marvel: Agents of Shield that I'd saved to my DVR. I was going to delete them - because seriously, they'd sat on the DVR for a while. But I tried one, got hooked, and binged the rest. Well, sort of. It was an intermittent binge. I can't watch 8 shows in a day. Those days are over, my attention wanders.
It's dramatically improved since the previous three seasons. Better writing, the characters are more fleshed out, and have actually evolved, and they've added a few interesting new ones. The show is definitely not static, and it being a Whedon franchise, they don't shy away from killing people or turning alleged nice guys into monsterous killers. All I can say is poor Agent Mai, her taste in men...
For some reason, they don't want to kill off Grant Ward. They just keep making him worse or more evil than before. He's gone from slightly misunderstood sociopath, to insane sociopath, to dead sociopath possessed by a nasty alien. The man just can't die.
