1. Discovered recently that the best way to fend off anxiety and depression is to focus on being present in the moment or now. Don't think about the past. Don't think about the future. Just think about what you are doing right now. Simple in concept. But difficult to do in practice. However it can be done. I've been practicing and I'm getting better at it. I sit back and look at the negative thoughts...as if I'm objectively observing them happening to someone else, and they just float away.
It's rather cool, actually. Focusing more and more on what is working and trying to not think about what isn't.

Getting better at yoga as well. I've actually mastered several poses, triangle pose, warrior pose, downward dog, and built up some strength and flexibility. Plus getting better at the whole diet thing.

2. Zootopia is a clever feel good movie about racial tolerance, and not letting people define who you are. Well written, developed and executed. Also available on "on demand" for $5.
