May. 8th, 2018 09:47 pm1. So out of curiosity, I'm checking out Eurovision 2018 Playlist -- which is sort of interesting. It's a global song competition, where various countries compete for best song. At least that's what I think it is about. They don't air it on US broadcast or cable television. But you can see it on Youtube and online, apparently.
2. Okay, according to this site Fox has quietly renewed Lucifer for Season 4
FOX has quietly renewed Lucifer for Season 4, to premiere fall 2018, sources exclusively inform RenewCancelTV.
(I agree with the comments, it needs to get away from the love triangles and romances and back to the dark supernatural underpinings of the prior seasons.)
But no one on Reddit is sure if it is true or not.
This site says not renewed yet - https://premieredate.news/tv-series/2893-lucifer.html
And this one isn't sure either: https://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/lucifer-season-three-ratings/
Sigh.
Tom Welling and the story arc really hurt the ratings. They dived during his story arc, lifted up briefly for stand-a-lones, then dived again. Because the show suddenly became a boring cop show, with a boring love triangle, and a boring villain.
I think if it gets renewed they need to go back to the comics and jump away from the procedural angle. Also get rid of the love triangles and Pierce. Apparently the commentators agree with me.
