1. Hee Hee Hee. Oh, I sometimes I really love New York.

NRA is claiming that the state of New York is driving it towards bankruptcy and it may cease to exist.

WASHINGTON—The National Rifle Association claims it's facing deep financial problems and it might go broke in a lawsuit that blames its problems on the state of New York.

The gun-rights organization said it may soon have to stop producing its magazines and its video streaming service, NRAtv, because of actions by the state of New York, which the NRA accused of running a "blacklisting campaign."

The campaign appears to be part of a national campaign calling for companies to cut ties with the group in the aftermath of several high profile shootings, most notably with the high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.

The gun lobbying group claims in its lawsuit, which targets Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the New York State Department of Financial Services and Maria Vullo, which heads the department, that the state has caused "irrecoverable loss and irreparable harm" to the organization. But, of course, the organization is making these claims in a lawsuit, which it hopes to win.

The Rolling Stone first obtained the lawsuit and published the 45-page complaint online Friday.

Over several months, the NRA has taken aim at the state of New York and its financial regulators after the state ruled the NRA's insurance, "Carry Guard," was illegal because it gave liability protection to gun owners for acts where there was "intentional wrongdoing."

LOL! Go New York! And good luck with that NRA, a state has the right to invalidate an insurance clause that could cause irreparable harm to it's citizens. Take out your insurance clause and you'll be fine.

2. I'm entertained by the GH fanboard that I've finally figured out is being run by reps for Soap Opera Digest and ABC Soaps in Depth and their sponsored fan events. (Why? Because they keep posting advertising for them and pages from the mags. And you aren't permitted to post from any other source, not considered reliable.) Basically they are paid marketers. There's a lot of paid marketing/advertising folks on the big name socail media sites. They don't bother with Dreamwidth, it falls beneath their radar. (I know this for a fact, because a media marketing professor pretty much said she didn't bother with it any longer -- because it's not a good promotional platform. YAY! That's why I'm here. Do Not Want.)

So..if you are on Twitter, FB, Instagram, Pininterest, Snapchat, keep in mind anything that is frequented by celebrities or well-known folks is probably not a safe spot to talk too in depth about your personal life. It's a marketing tool.

3. Capitalism or rather consumerism at work in our lives..

Kid: I want toy motorcyle
Dad: You need money for toy motorcycle.
Kid: How do I get money
Dad: You do your chores and save up and you can get it.
Kid: How long will that take...
