Me: I cheered myself up by watching The Good Place last night. It made me laugh.
Mom: Oh, what's that about?
Me: It stars Ted Danson and Kristen Bell and it's about a bunch of people who think they made it to heaven when in actuality they went to hell.
Mother laughs.
Me: Riffs on philosophy and psychology and stuff. Best sitcom seen in years.
