1. Mother: Damn, I missed turning on NCIS. You made me miss turning it on -
ME: Aren't you recording it?
Mother: Well, yes -- but I am not watching Game of Thrones, so don't need to hear about it.
ME: So you want to watch NCIS live with the commercials? And not fast-forward through them.
Mother: I didn't need to hear about GOT.
Me: You could have cut me off at any time and not asked questions. This is on you. Also stop whining, you're taping NCIS. All I did was make it possible for you to fast-forward through the commercials.

I argue negotiate for a living, and by the end of the day -- my patience is completely shot.

Mother: So someone calling you at the end of the day to argue -
ME: doesn't go well. Co-workers were highly entertained. They said I shut them down flat. Stupid consultant felt the need to argue with me over whether or not he could pass off a candidate with four years of experience at a higher rate. And whether we had to accept who he chose to offer. We don't.

2. Apparently we aren't the only ones having issues with the GoT Plot at the moment... 12 Things That Are Really Bothering Us Game of Thrones.

I have to admit I agree with them. The plot just does not work. And there's a lot more than 12 things bugging me about this season of GoT.

3. Roswell, New Mexico was renewed for a second season - officially

4. Fall TV 2019 Shows Renewed/Cancelled and Ordered

All the TV Shows To Date via Rotten Tomatoes that are cable and streaming and broadcast that have been renewed and cancelled

* What We Do in the Shadows? -- Renewed.
* Killing Eve - Renewed
*The Good Place - Renewed
* The Connors - Renewed
* Killjoys - cancelled
* The 100 - renewed (I know surprised me too.)
* Legion (canceled after 3rd and final season...sigh.)
* The Gifted - Cancelled.

The Ultimate Guide to 2019s Broadcast TV Renewals and Cancellations

Hmmm...Marvel Agents of Shield has been renewed for two more seasons. This is a like a cockroach -- you just can't kill it, can you?

Bull - could go either way, I have a feeling it's dead, and Seal Team will be renewed. Not that I watch either...network programming choices bewilder me.

The Passage looks like it will be renewed.

The Masked Singer was renewed -- which is interesting.

The Simpsons got renewed for two more seasons -- honestly I am beginning to think the Simpsons will outlast the Earth. We'll all be dead and buried and they will still be running Simpsons cartoons.

I Feel Bad and The Village are most likely toast -- not at all surprised.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been renewed -- it appears to be a cat with nine lives.

Outlander was renewed.

Pretty much everything on the CW was renewed except the three to four shows that we already knew were being cancelled. Honestly, I think if you air on the CW you have to kill someone to get cancelled -- unless you've aired for five seasons and the writers threatened to kill someone unless they did get cancelled.

By the way there are over 1,000 television shows currently on. If one of your fav's got cancelled, not to worry -- I'm sure you can find something else. If not? You aren't looking hard enough.

Personally, I'd like to see The Passage get renewed because it was one of the better plotted series this year, not to mention acted, written and produced. I do not know why A Million Little Things survived. And This is Us is up in the air, oddly.
While For the People is leaning towards cancellation, and Station 19 towards renewal.
