I am a WRITER!
I drive a far from new MINI COOPER.
I really like TEA.
I mean, I REALLY like TEA.
I think most people are doing the BEST THEY CAN to deal with a difficult world.
And that HELPING PEOPLE is a good thing to do.
And if you don't like that I don't particularly care.
Hmmm...
I'm a writer
I take trains everywhere, so my carbon footprint is VERY small
I love TEA
I also love Chocolate and comic books and romance novels and soap operas and music by the Beatles
And I think people are the reason the world is so difficult...
But helping people makes me happier...
And I don't really care what others think about any of these things any longer..
2. Read about the movies coming out in the fall..the only one's that sparked an interest or I remember are:
* Parasite - very odd Korean film that is a comedy, not a horror movie, about two families who are viciously entwined with each other
* Pope vs. Pope -- starring Jonathan Pryce and Anthony Hopkins portraying the conflict between Pope Francis (at that time a Cardinal) and Pope Benedict.
* Gemini Man - Ang Lee film about Will Smith's aging government assassin being tracked down by a clone, who is his younger self.
* The Goldfinch - mainly because I don't want to read the book. I'd rather they do an adaptation of The Secret History -- but I'm not sure it's possible.
* The King -- about King Henry the V - an adaptation of the Shakespearean plays regarding the late King.
* Motherless Brooklyn -- with Ed Norton in the lead role.
* Ford vs. Ferrari - the Matt Damon (car engineer) and Christian Bale (race car driver) film
* Doctor Sleep -- sequel to The Shining. Rumor has it that they may get Jack Nicolson to reprise the role of Jack Torrance in the film. No word yet on that casting.
