Didn't take a walk today, instead, after I clocked out from work, I cleaned out my kitchen and did laundry. Laundry continues to be an experience. I swear if I get COVID it will either be from doing laundry or being forced back into my crazy workplace.
But this picture, which I took on my walk yesterday, gives me joy. The lovely thing about NY is there are a lot of trees.

Take joy wherever I can get it. I'm currently grateful that I can still breath and a lot better than I was breathing from November through March.
Which is why I'm anxious about going back to the office - I can breath at home, not so much at the office. I may be wrong about this - and psychologically attributing my ability to breath to a coincidence. It's more than possible that whatever I got in November didn't get out of my system until March. (I'll never know what it was. It's long gone now.)

Laundry, as I stated previously, proved to be interesting. ( Read more... )
At least the kitchen rewiring being done tomorrow won't be too bad. ( Read more... )

Mother: Your father had me writing up his obituary today.

Busy today writing up a memo for the legal department to review a contractual assignment. Among other things. Nice thing about job is the work does vary - and I never really know what I'm going to be working on each day. I make plans, work often dashes them.
I want a vacation. But due to previous choices I've made in my life, and the current situation that I'm living in - and my physiological makeup - this isn't possible. I know I'm not alone in this. Which makes it somewhat easier.
And NY ever vigilant in its fight against the coronavirus, is now aiding Utah. New York and Northwell Health will deploy at least 30 healthcare personnel to Utah to support Intermountain Healthcare. Intermountain Healthcare — Utah's largest provider — sent dozens of healthcare workers to New York to support our hospitals earlier in the year. We say thank you today with action: New York and Northwell Health will send a team of healthcare workers to Utah on Sunday, along with PPE and equipment as needed. (Per the Governor's night email.)
I'm tired...and kind of spent, off to make dinner..wish me luck tomorrow.
It's not going to be an easy day.
