Took today off - burning off personal days and vacation in November and December. My father thinks I appear to be taking every other day off. My father does have dementia, and the days blend together for him.

As a result, got in a 3.4 mile hike around Greenwood Cemetery.

It was peaceful for the most part. The landscaping crew was out and about.
I did have to zig-zag around folks. But other than that...I walked for an hour with no one really around, and breathed in the air, listened to the birds, and looked at trees.

In regards to the pandemic? New York is kind of okay. We're test happy. Apparently over 205,466 tests were done today. To give you an idea of how huge an accomplishment this is - they could barely get 50 tests back in March. In fact in March - they were saying it was impossible to do 1,000 tests. That's huge. And it has made all the difference. They know where the virus is - and as a result have been able to keep hospitalizations down.
