Got up at 5:45 am - (I'm remote today) - to get downstairs to do laundry. Had to go to the toilet first, so didn't make it down there until 6:07, and the frigging guy on the floor below me got there first.
We got to talking. ( Read more... ) While I was down there - ran into Super who carted painter with her - because she was looking for me. He wanted to pick up his paint brushes (which he'd forgotten and was worried got lost). They informed me that he had installed the fire alarm - he just installed it in the high ceiling above the little foyer between my bedroom and the bathroom and living room - which is where it is supposed to go - and not on the wall where it was previously.
He patiently waited until I was ready to take my laundry back up to my apartment and locate his brushes. Sweet little guy, profusely thanked me, for doing basically nothing but keeping his brushes safe and sound in a bag on a chair in the kitchen.
I think my workplace is trying to drive me insane. Or this project is.

I need to make tomorrow's lunch and tonight's dinner. I'm thinking chicken.
I had Almond Flour Spinach Ravoli last night that didn't quite agree with me.
Also, plan to relax and watch the soap opera which has finally gotten interesting - after months upon months of dragging.
Oh, Oscars came out today. Mother read them off to me. Apparently we saw most of the films except one that got nominated. The one that got the most was Power of the Dog, the others, Don't Look Up, West Side Story, Being the Ricardos, Coda, and Tick Tock Boom. We saw everything but Coda and West Side Story.
Regarding COVID? Painter, Super's wife, other guy doing laundry, me - all had masks. Young 20 something blond, with nice wool coat riding down elevator - did not. I shouldn't be annoyed by this any longer, but alas I am.
