Spent the evening watching S5 of the Expanse. Finished that season, now onto the final Season - Season 6. And I honestly think that it makes sense to end it with S6. It shouldn't go past that point, or it gets stretched too thin.
( spoilers )
It was a better and more suspenseful season than the last two, gave Naomi more to do, along with Bobbie and few of the other characters, Holden was less front and center.

Also took walk to the UPS Store to drop off my package - which was in a skeevy section of the neighborhood. Yet weirdly one block away from this:

NYC in a nutshell. Go in one direction, trash on the street, people yelling on phones, car shops, and in another.. lovely multi-family homes, and tree lined streets.

Had too many of the Russell Stover Valentine Chocolate Covered Marshmellow thingies today - so wired. I need to stop buying things I binge eat. It's not good for me and my diabetes.
Mother told bro that I hosted a 94-100 person meeting the other day.
Mother: Your sister hosted a meeting on teams with over 90 some people for work.
Bro: Hosted? I thought she was just a participant?
Mother: No, she organized it, hosted it, facilitated it and moderated it.
Bro: Oh, that's something...
See, equal opportunity bragging. She tells me about all the trips he and his family take, and the stuff he does to his house, and him about all my work projects. Personally, I'd like to trade places. Although he doesn't really want to travel further than Maine and Martha's Vineyard this year. (Also to see mother of course.) He may go overseas to pick his daughter up at the end of the year, and explore.
Pandemic isn't holding him back, or so it seems. Although I'd say we are all still social distancing for the most part.

Canada and its idiotic truckers, causing yet another supply chain crisis because they can't handle vaccine mandates and testing. Poor little entitled woobies. The folks in Ottawa are bloody sick of the attention and would like the idiotic truckers to go elsewhere. Maybe the US? It could cause delays with the Superbowl telecast - I'm not sure how, but it might.
Oh heaven forbid, we can't have that, now can we? (If we did they might stop protesting and go home?)
Meanwhile the far right American media aka Fox News is confused. They seem to think the Canadian Truckers are clogging our borders to the south, as in Mexico, with the illegals attempting to get into the US and steal our jobs.
They did a huge story on it, the Daily Show got hold of it - and mocked them relentlessly for it. [Fox tries to make everything vaccine related about immigration - except this time it just made them look like confused idiots.]
Fox News: See the huge truck convoy from Mexico clogging our borders smuggling in illegal immigrants!
Daily Show: Except that's actually Canada. As in Ottawa? see? Snow? Canadian Flags! It's not the Mexican border, it's the Canadian border, and they aren't coming to the US, they went up into Canada and parked in the city of Ottawa way to our north.
Fox: Evil Migrants.
Daily Show: Nah, Evil Canadian Truckers with Magna hats. You make this too easy, you know that, right? We used to have work harder than this to make fun of you. We even had to make up stuff - now all we have to do is use your own news feed to do it.
LOL!
Meanwhile France, not to be outdone by Canada and the US, now has it's own personal convoy of protestors. Because stupidity really can't be limited to one section of the globe, it has to be widespread.
Meanwhile someone tweeted..."Are there any Americans who are vaccinated, social distance, and wear masks...asking for the Canadian Truckers?"
Me : Approximately 5 million New Yorkers?
Meanwhile Eric Adams basically told the NYC Workers that if they didn't get fully vaccinated he was going to fire them, as a public service. It was on them. The city did not need to support a bunch of idiots any longer - at the risk of public health and safety. De Blasio just put them unpaid leave. Adam - "fire them, I'm tired of this."
I agree with him.

I got tired of the word Meanwhile.
Here's a picture, I'm going to bed.
[And no it's not the same picture as above, it's ever so slightly different.]
