Jun. 4th, 2024 08:38 pmI've decided life would be a heck of a lot easier if everyone thought like I did. Boring. But easier.
It would also help if we had the same tastes, although if we thought the same way, that's probably par for the course.
Differences are wonderful and all that, but also aggravating.
But alas, where's the challenge in that?
Still thinking about Dot Bubble, but don't really want to discuss it. Except that it is among the best satires that I've seen to date. The Brits do satire better than most.

I decided to look up the word normal.
Xitter: Do you know anyone who is normal? This is social psychology experiment.
Nor·mal
/ˈnôrm(ə)l/
adjective
adjective: normal
1.
conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected.
"it's quite normal for puppies to bolt their food"
h
Similar:
usual
Me: don’t consider any human being normal? Define normal? Per the dictionary? Conforming to a standard. So basically belonging to a cult? I mean you are conforming to standards in a cult. They love conformity.
[ETC: This is a joke, granted a bad one. I'm playing with the meaning of words. People misuse the word normal to mean conforming to a standard of values or behavior that they find acceptable or the "norm". As opposed to meaning an average scientific standard. Hence the social psychology experiment - asking if you know anyone who is normal? I'm poking fun at these people.]
