Don't Worry, Be Happy
Jan. 10th, 2025 09:01 pmI should go to bed soon, living off of 4 hours and 12 minutes worth of sleep. Stupid body wouldn't let me sleep last night, it was more my body than my head. My head was busy worrying about getting to sleep. Other than last night? I've been sleeping very well of late - also a potential reason for ridiculous good mood of late.
I think it's several things? But seriously? I should stop overthinking it. (Being me - I of course analyzed and overthought it to death. But won't bore you all with the details - I may eventually talk myself out of being happy...yes, it's possible. I honestly think being happy is sometimes just a choice?)
At any rate? Don't worry. Be Happy. As that Bobby McFerrin song goes. Don't Worry Be Happy Video - which is weirdly dark, so maybe not?
I'm thinking after last week's sermon on the Good Place, of doing a re-watch. It's among the few situation comedies that I actually watched all of, it and MASH. There may be a few others.
Planning on making Lasagna again this weekend - because I can have it for four nights. And it stores well. I might even be able to take left-overs to work - who knows.
Also doing some painting. It's not as cold tonight, and the weekend is expected to be slightly warmer - with potential snow storm on the way. Although it's a slight chance of snow at the moment. We're getting the cold, but not the snow. The weather folks said it may be too cold to snow?
I don't know - it seems positively balmy with temperatures hitting the upper twenties and low thirties, it will be almost hot on Monday, with a high of 45 F (7.2 C).
Off to read and hopefully sleep.
