I kind of turned off one or two of the members once - by dissing the Big Lebowski fans? Two of us were doing it. And got in trouble. (I was actually mocking Wales - who is an annoying Big Lebowski fan, and so is cjl.) Anyhow, apologized, but I think I rubbed some people the wrong way - and I've been a touch leery since then.
I have a very dry snarky sense of humor (kind of like Spike and Anya on Buffy) and that can turn off folks. And I'm assertive so there's that.
