Been battling migraine headaches lately. Woke up with one this morning, I think it is finally gone now. And tired, kept falling asleep today.
I have beans soaking in cold water in the fridge. The game plan is to make salads with them, after I cook them. Also, possibly soup. I need to figure out what to do with beans that doesn't involve rice.

Wales: We got to plan for your birthday! It's coming up soon!
ME: Really?
Wales: What do you want to do?
Me: I don't know.
Wales: What do you want?
ME: I don't know.
Wales: I'm totally getting you something, but I need to know what and it has to be no more than thirty dollars!
Sigh, birthdays can be so stressful. Either I get depressed that no one will get me anything, or I get stressed about trying to figure out what they should get me. It was easier before technology - then they could just buy me a DVD, CD, or a book - now I get that all via ebook, audiobook, MP3 player, or streaming. And seriously don't have any space for it.
I have to think about it. What is under $30?
I'm thinking of taking two-three days off around it, and going to the American Natural History Museum.

Feeling very unmotivated. And kind of sluggish.
Been watching a lot of kind of mindless television? Well according Wales. Really just going to sleep and playing the RedEcor video game and surfing social media during it?
ME: been watching Fire Country on Paramount Plus
Wales: That's kind of mindless - isn't it?
ME: I have a migraine and I'm tired, with a brain fog...also, it's not that mindless. (I like the characters.)
Today, flipped over to Will Trent, which is hard to follow, they drop in bits and pieces of this complicated back story of the characters in the middle of the episodes. Of course didn't help that I fell asleep during the second episode and had to rewatch it. But I kept thinking during it - wait a minute, did I miss something - nope. They really did drop that in out of nowhere. May go back to it - because I like the characters and actors.
And watched...The Connors by accident. I was watching something else and it automatically jumped to the Connors on Hulu before I could change the channel. It was okay. And kind of depressing.
Now, watching School Spirits on Netflix. It's an odd show. Kind of a mystery. Maddie dies at school, and becomes a ghost. She can't get out of the school, nor can she remember how she died. Only her friend Simon can see her, and the other spirits in the school who've died during different decades. She has no memory of what happened between ditching study hall and dying. And gets bits of memory in flashes.
It's okay. Kind of compelling and mindless at the same time?
