Yeah. I feel guilty for admiring these people, and envying their success only to find how they've done monstrous things that I can't even imagine or understand doing, if that makes any sense? I think it's why I got somewhat obsessed with it - because it just didn't make sense to me. Whedon's made more sense - it's toxic bullying behavior and his history fit it (he worked on Roseanne as his first job), and I saw signs of it post Buffy in his work, and the Q&As at cons. But I didn't see the Gaiman or Palmer stuff at all.
