That's kind of how I feel? I read Gellar's take on it - SMG breaks silence on Buffy reboot.

My difficulty is - this was a collaboration, and unless you are bringing back all of the collaborators? It feels like fanfic? Not that's a bad thing necessarily. It can be interesting and open up new avenues. But after S7 of Buffy - I was really only interested in Buffy's relationships with Spike, Faith and Willow. And that was about it. The rest felt resolved?

And I can't say I was necessarily that into the slayers. That mythology/world building was kind of ...messy? They could reboot it and take it in another direction.

I don't know. It is interesting that Gellar is actually into it - considering how she was so negative about doing it not that long ago.
