She is the best thing in the show. Four episodes in? And I basically want to strangle all the male characters but possibly Ed. And am rooting for Maggie (Janine Turner) and Marilyn. Shelly is taking the dumb blond stereotype to extremes. As Maurice is taking the macho astronaut stereotype. The show has a lot of stereotypical characters. Maggie was one of the few that wasn't.
