I didn't know that - it makes sense though. I'm seeing the same thing now in the US. People tend to believe the rhetoric and propaganda, and Hitler was a propaganda machine. I wish I'd known this ages ago - although I doubt, I'd have gotten anywhere, people tend to believe myths and propaganda.
