Yeah, in soaps - they have to do scenes for about ten different episodes in one day, and all out of order. So, the actors have to perform the fight that happens a week or so after their love scene, before the love scene. That's one example.
Prime time and streaming for the most part - at least just does scenes for the same episode within a week or two.
Film can do different scenes throughout the year for a film, and if two films back to back filming..ugh.
