I think there are definitely cultural differences in the show as a whole. I have difficulty seeing Annie's character play out the same way on American TV. And given that BH is still going on and knowing who was showrunning the U.S. version, I had little interest in watching it even before I saw their new cast.
Agreed. No interest in the American version. 20 minutes of it was more than enough.
I am equally curious about what the Brit version will do with George next season. I began to realize last season that he really was the main character or lead - which surprised me in a good way. Because...that's rare. Usually it is the hot/sexy vampire.
