As far as I understand the USA goverment ... at least the " concept " of this country ... is that the goverments JOB is NOT to pander to the masses ... it's JOB is to FIND the ONE lonley voice that NO ONE ELSE seems to hear ...and then CHAMPION that voice.
In my opinion .. you need to find that 80 year old woman with 300 cats .. and " be on HER side " ... coz' if SHE loses ... so do we ALL !
