I did it again to grab icons. And well it's just fun!

I'm still tickled that one of the Angel the Series pictures is one I made. Hee!

It's one of the better ones. I wish I could get the Buffy one with Buffy and the halo, but oh well.

I love that 'Dead Like Me' picture... This is a great source for finding icons, even if they are a little too big, often lj can reduce them for you when you try to upload them as an icon.
This one of Jane Austen has become a huge favorite of mine.

I want the "Against The Grain" icon, but not sure will get it to work. Also grabbed the Jazz one.
And a few others that I forget. But agree some are just too big.

On my long list of things I will get once I'm financially stablized is a "digital camera" and "scanner". But first things first.

I like the Jane Austen icon. She's becoming a bit like Shakespeare with Hollywood films. I think there are about a hundred different versions of Pride and Prejudice, almost as many versions as Hamlet. A writer who could create characters that transcended her story enough to capture the minds of other creators and artists. Rare talent indeed. Also goes to show you - that despite what everyone thinks, building interesting characters are as if not more important than the language you use to weave the tale.

I bought my xerox scanner/printer combo ages ago and unfortunately it isn't compatible w/Windows XP....I'll have to get a new one if and when I get a new computer. It wasn't very expensive, but my digital camera was a little more than I wanted to spend, however now days when it is impossible to bring undeveloped film on a plane trip (both the carry on and the checked luggage are hit with such powerful x-rays that the exposed film can be totally ruined) it really is nice to have a digital camera!

Hmmm. There was a "hodgepodge" post up there a minute ago, and I clicked to see what new shows you were going to watch, and it disappeared.

Hmmm.

;o)

Yes, I know. I deleted it. Didn't like how it read. May or may not redo the post.
