Jul. 28th, 2007 09:53 pmAir conditioner up and running! Yay!!! It's 77 in the apartment. Cool and pleasant. Not almost 90. Yay!!
Had drinks with Wales. Discussed all sorts of things. Played Connect 4 until Wales got bored of beating me. Than wandered home.
Other things to Yay about: Brian Lynch and Frank Urru are writing and doing the art for Angel S6 - After The Fall. Spike will definitely be a part of it. It will have arcs. Be 12 issues. With stand-alones featuring other characters in the universe. Very happy about this.
My current favorite tv series:
Burn Notice - best damn procedural I've seen in a long time. About an CIA agent who has burned or kicked out, and is hiding in Miami with his family and friends until he can figure out who burned him. Friends include an ex-IRA spy and girlfriend - Fiona, an ex-spy, named Sam - played by the wonderful Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Xenia, Hercules, and Brisco County Jr. as well as Bubba Hutpec), his mother - played by Sharon Gless, and kid brother.
He does a voice over explaining spy tatics. It's sort of McGyver meets The Equalizer.
This may be my favorite summer series.
