Here we go again...

shadowkatI was laid-off today. Along with fifteen other people, including cubicle mate, and a gal whose husband is currently being detained by immigration because his visa expired. Even the recruiter who hired me was laid-off. Found out at 11:45. Got home by 12:35.
Not a good day.
Said goodbye to the people I cared about. Chatted with one of the other people who got laid-off. Then went home, cried, got on the computer and sent off the requisite emails. Because when you get laid-off - you tell everyone, because you never know who might know about a possible job opportunity. Can't ask for unemployment until next week apparently - so will claim it then.
I swear I have the worst luck when it comes to job-hunting.
