I just had a friend point out the amount of violence toward women depicted in 'Supernatural' http://sisabet.livejournal.com/365275.html they have the download to links of a video that showed how disturbing the images are, and how ubiquitous they are.... I'm not criticizing 'Supernatural', but it did seem to tie into the discussion here.
