What will hold one person isn't likely to hold another, which is why reviewing something is a difficult art. For example - I find Private Practice unwatchable and could never for the life of me get into Jericho, even though I adore disaster shows. So much of what we like has a lot to do with what we are dealing with and who we are - which is why predicting what will or won't do well is an impossible science.
