Oh and I heard about a good site on CBS news this morning - entitled "goodreads.com" where you can critique a bunch of books you've read and it will generate other recommended books that fit your critique that others have read. Or something like that. Haven't tried it yet.

This is a bit different - in that you can rate the books you've read, write reviews, mention ones currently reading and read others - it's more like a database, reminds me a little of that library thing that was so popular for a while but requires less time and effort.

Yep, I ended up wasting two hours on that site. Another distraction I really don't need right now - lj is bad enough. Honestly, the internet is a horrid distraction when you are trying to write. What I need is a separate laptop for writing that is not hooked up to the net.
