I love that show. Remember they had to cut the season short at what, 11 episodes? It's dark and funny and has Christina Hendricks (Angel, Firefly, Mad Men) to drive Adam Arkin crazy. I just got the DVD and will be watching it tonight and tomorrow. What bugs me is they have about 5 commentaries that are at best ordinary. They shouldn't let cast members gather about the box and proceed to sound like a drunken bunch of strangers to the show.
I'm hoping that "The Fringe" is good. Can't wait for more Supernatural (it films in my town). Heroes, and eventually BSG and Lost. One show I got the DVD for is Saving Grace and the commentaries by Nancy Miller remind me how good commentaries can be. The folks at Life could take notes on how to draw a viewer into how a show comes about and is made. Saving Grace is irreverant and makes you love the characters...good thing they gave Bailey Chase that cowboy hat to wear.
