oh I definitely think that snow is way worse, it is heavy and hard to clear, it clings to the car so you have to keep digging and wiping and de-frosting! Rain is wet, and often comes with winds which reduce visibility, and here it comes with dense fog (which REALLY stops all visibility: according to one statistic fog causes more traffic accidents than snow or ice!), but at least it doesn't need to be shoveled, and you don't have to salt the streets!
But you're right, I'm not even counting the mud slides and floods and power outages! I shouldn't complain though, we desperately need the rain, the Governator had already started restricting water use, and the water companies have already raised prices, because the reservoirs are all so low.
