Oh you're right of course, Joss has had an amazing career, and I'm sure he'll continue having more and more success (even if Dollhouse fails). But I do think that the Writers' Strike reminded him, pretty graphically, about how tough things are for writers... and pretty much everyone who isn't actually in control of the studios and/or networks.

Dr. Horrible has gone into profit and won huge kudos for everyone involved, so Joss is already planning to do another web show (I don't know if he is thinking sequel or something new). I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love to go into business with him....

But I still hope that Dollhouse will get another season, or at least another 1/2 season.

I am kind of enjoying these short seasons of shows like Burn Notice, Leverage, In Plain Sight, The Closer etc... It seems like they tell a good story and then before the break gets too long they return again. I guess Burn Notice has saved a lot of money by filming in Miami...
