Hmm...I agree, I'm having the same response to him. And no, I don't think it's the actor - who actually saves the role, if someone else were playing him - he'd annoy me more, but Dekker brings an intensity and edge. You can see him thinking.
But, the character...is annoying. I keep wanting to kick him. He whines constantly. Is constantly telling the others not to do things. Is bossy. And possessive of both Diana and Cassie.
So this is a case of liking the actor and hating how he is written. Which happens to me a lot actually and is why following actors from film or tv show to tv show is not always a good idea. Writing does matter.
