The Cape had potential - with the carnival story-thread and should have focused more on that, but fell into cliche with the whole ex-cop turns vigilante to clear his name (which Kickass made fun of.).

At any rate - it didn't hold my interest at all - so not surprised it got canceled out of the box.

American Television has a lot of these types of shows unfortunately.

Agree regarding the sex on Misfits - it's nice and messy and the body types on Misfits are more realistic (as opposed to Vampire Diaries where everybody looks like they came out of the same modeling agency.). I loved the bad sex scene between Kelly and Nathan. Kelly fascinates me and may well be my favorite female character. While Simon is growing on me. They don't appear to know what to do with Curtis. Although Curtis' new girl-friend is a lot of fun - I rather like her and I love her power. That's the power I'd want teleportation. Although apparently her's only works if she is thinking of someone that she feels strongly about or is connected to. The way they play with supernatural powers in this show is rather detailed and intriguing. It's a very well-written and directed series. Not sure why no one over here has grabbed distribution rights - you'd think BBC America or Syfy would be snatching it up? Of course, I'm still trying to wrap my head around why Syfy didn't just try to out-bid BBC America for the rights to Being Human as opposed to wasting a ton of money remaking it. I couldn't make it through the first episode of the US version of Being Human.
