I read "The Ghost Writer" before I saw the movie. The movie is pretty true to the book, and at least it's less preposterous a book than the writer's previous novel, where I never recovered from the fact that he had the hero and heroine survive Vesuvius blowing up... by climbing inside the aqueduct.
And I watched the Dumas movie when I had the flu. I'm hoping the flu had something to do with it because.. that was one weird ass movie.
