The only time I can see Angel speaking to Xander is if the group drove through LA on their way to the airport and Europe. Assuming they stopped by Angel's domain to tell him what happened. If they did? I still don't see Xander telling Angel that Spike got his soul because he attempted to rape Buffy. Actually I don't see them talking at all. I think Xander and Angel would have avoided each other like the plague.
