It's funny, though... you could very easily take Angel saving Buffy from Caleb in S7 as fulfillment of the destiny schtick that got Angel to give up humanity in IWRY. No one calls attention to it, and of course if Angel hadn't been there it's possible Buffy would have heard Caleb in time and saved herself. But maybe the writers decided to throw the poor guy a bone.
