I don't particularly care what Mark thinks, and I'm a little boggled that so many other people seem to. He's just one more reviewer in a sea of them.
I've found that reviewers who hate my favorite characters tend to view the text as a whole in a way that I don't find very satisfying, so while I might read such a blog now and then to see how the other half lives, I don't think I'd follow one regularly.
